Virginia Tourism has created its best-ever media plan for the industry. The co-op plan has
a new name, the Virginia Industry Marketing Program. Virginia Tourism aims to create
affordable advertising opportunities for our industry partners campaigns, running from July
2016 - June 2017, while investing and buying down more than before. These opportunities
are flexible and fit into partner’s schedules, as opposed to developing a one-size-fits-all
program. There are more opportunities than just advertising in this plan, and it reflects both
what we know partners need, and the current media landscape.
Only the Virginia Tourism industry can take advantage of these co-operative advertising opportunities.
