Virginia Tourism Corporation Marketing Leverage Program Applications opening soon!
Applications will open on April 11, 2017 and are due back no later than June 27 by 5:00 PM. Note that if you want to take advantage of a draft review, the draft deadline is June 6 by 5:00 PM.
The VTC Marketing Leverage Program is designed to stimulate new tourism marketing programs through the creation of tourism partnerships, to leverage partners’ marketing budgets, and to extend the “Virginia is for Lovers” campaign.
Summer, July 4th and Summer Cabin Rentals Content Needed
We need your summer events and festivals as well as your July 4th events! We also need your Cabin Rentals for Summer. We use this information in numerous blogs and articles we will be highlighting through our social channels and newsletters. We plan 3 months in advance. You must be listed on Virginia.org for possible inclusion.

Enroll to distribute your brochures at our NEW Northern Virginia Gateway Welcome Center, on I-95N, Mile Marker 107. With a trained staff of travel counselors, this is the perfect location to promote your attractions! Prorated fee available for 2017.

Calling all film lovers! Virginia Tourism and the Virginia Film Office have partnered together to launch an online short film contest! The contest opens on December 3rd and will be accepting submissions until May 29th 2017. $15,000 will go to the winning shorts- so don’t miss out! Celebrate Earth Day All Month Long with Virginia Green Travel Partners!
The Virginia Green Earth Day celebration began on April 1st at the 3rd Annual Support Virginia Green Tourism Oyster Roast in Richmond and it featured all Virginia Green partners – 4 restaurants, 3 breweries, 5 wineries, 1 cidery, and 40 other Virginia Green travel partners in our silent auction (see the pics)!
Culminate with Earth Day celebrations at Virginia Craft Breweries as many of them are donating proceeds to the Virginia Green Travel Alliance on Earth Day (Saturday, April 22nd). More details here.
Keep Virginia Beautiful and the Adopt-A-Highway program
Keep Virginia Beautiful is proud to announce a partnership with VDOT and the Adopt-A-Highway program. KVB will be promoting, supporting, and motivating volunteers to participate in this storied program for beautification and litter prevention along the roads of the Commonwealth. Learn more on how you can make a difference in the communities where you live and work.
It’s that time again! Since 2011, Keep Virginia Beautiful has awarded $145,000 for 195 different projects across Virginia! We’re awarding these grants again, in amounts from $500 to $1,000 to thirty different groups who want to make an impact in Litter Prevention, Recycling, Community Beautification, or Cigarette Litter Prevention.
Applications will be accepted on our 30 in Thirty Page from April 1st through April 30th!
