Each year, the Virginia Tourism Corporation Public Relations team compiles What’s New in Virginia — a curated collection of new, renovated and expanded attractions, accommodations, restaurants, events and travel experiences across the Commonwealth. This information is shared with in-state, regional, national and international media.
Because media are requesting future travel news earlier than ever, we encourage partners to submit updates as soon as possible. If details are still developing, submissions are accepted and shared throughout the year.
What are we looking for:
- New or significantly renovated hotels and lodging
- New or significantly renovated restaurants, breweries, wineries, and attractions
- New projects and developments
- New or returning events and festivals
- Noteworthy anniversaries and milestones
- Experiences or initiatives that are part of your destination marketing strategy
