Tourism Works for Virginia!
We have just returned from our VA-1 Tourism Conference in Alexandria where you, the tourism industry, came together with us to partner. The high-energy, record attendance and legislative support, including an encouraging and entertaining speech from Governor Kaine, made it the best ever.
But we are not going to stop there. Now we are coming to you! More than ever, it is important for us all to meet face-to-face, acknowledge the power and benefit of the tourism industry, and get business done! To make that happen VTC is launching our Help Desk Tour this October. This series of community and business training sessions gives individual businesses one-on-one time with VTC's staff of developers, trainers and marketers. The Help Desk Tour will take place in five different locations across the state, covering several regions, counties and communities. Our first week of Help Desks begins this coming Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Virginia Beach and continues on Thursday, Oct. 8, in Williamsburg. Here is a link to the complete Help Desk Tour. So grab your neighboring lodging, eateries, attractions and outdoor hot spots; Come meet and work with us to make tourism work better for you!
