President's Notes

In these tough economic times, all of us have been challenged to market smarter and to quickly react to changes in consumer behavior.  Nevertheless, we are fortunate to fulfill the promise of the Virginia is for Lovers brand and celebrate 40 years of that representation.  Our biggest promotion in Virginia tourism history is going like gangbusters and our call to our partners to provide value in our 40-off promotion (which will launch at the end of the month) was met with unbridled enthusiasm.  Certainly, if the state budget is signed as proposed, VTC will be providing even more strategic marketing partnerships.  Let me take this opportunity to thank all of you—our partners—we couldn’t have done it without you.
