President's Notes

In 2009, Virginia celebrates the 40th anniversary of Virginia is for Lovers, one of the oldest  and most recognized brands in the world.

At its core, Virginia is for Lovers represents a love of life and a passion for travel. In order to reconnect with the millions of our past visitors and millions of potential new travelers and to give new meaning to Virginia Is for Lovers, VTC recently unveiled our Virginia Is for Lovers - Live Passionately campaign.

We will be highlighting our past 40 years as part of next year’s strategy through a promotion like no other.  To make this a success we need your help. As a VTC promotions partner, your destination will be featured during 2009 when we will award not one but 40 trips to Virginia, one a week from February through November. We know this will keep them coming back week after week! To learn more about the Virginia’s 40 Years of Travel Passions, including how to submit one of our 40 prize trips, see VATC.org.
