President's Notes

Normally, I use this time to highlight some upcoming cooperative marketing strategies, but inasmuch as this time of year gives us all a time to reflect, I wanted you to know how very gratified and humbled I have been to work not only with an energetic and customer-oriented staff at VTC but also to work with the best and the brightest in tourism — each and every one of you.

In this era of intense competition, the Virginia tourism industry has banned together, pooled resources and applied innovative strategies to retain our status as a premier tourism industry.  As we all prepare for Jamestown 2007, America’s 400th Anniversary, I expect we will take our cooperative approach to new heights.

From all of us at VTC, please know how much we not only appreciate the marketing prowess of our partners but also we are honored to call you our friends.
