It has been just more than 10 years since the Internet was launched as a consumer medium. According to Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, 73% of active leisure travelers have access to the Internet at home and an increasing number are booking on line.

VTC’s spring advertising campaign, Great Virginia Getaways, features themed getaway offers making it easier for consumers to plan and book a Virginia Vacation. Great  Virginia Getaways is an exciting, interactive way to match online visitors with Virginia’s great lodging, attractions, dining and events. VTC’s offline and online marketing efforts are truly in sync and will drive consumers to find, click and book their own Great Virginia Getaway.

If your destination or product is not featured, please submit getaways representing your area to Sandy Westmoreland at 804-545-5557 and swestmoreland@virginia.org, as we are collecting as many as possible - covering all regions, all localities, all year! To view VTC’s current spring campaigns go to www.VATC.org and look in the advertising section.
