Vote early and often! This month Southern Living magazine is running its Readers’ Choice Awards for 2005. This is our opportunity to showcase all Virginia has to offer. To cast your vote for your favorite places to visit, stay, dine and play in Virginia, go to www.southernliving.com/features. This is also a great time of year as we all gear up for the summer season. From all of us at VTC, we look forward to working with you to maximize our marketing efforts. The Governor’s Tourism Conference was a great success with record attendance and just another opportunity for us to collaborate on getting “more people, staying longer and spending more money” in the Commonwealth.

    Admin Tool Tip
    bulletVenue for Events

When adding your event to Virginia.org, it is required to fill in the Venue field above the address information. The venue is the name of the location where the event takes place. For example, Brown's Island is the venue for Richmond's Friday Cheers music series. This is important for media to know where events happen. The media receive the list of events three months in advance.
For questions contact Angela Wiggins at 804-786-3526 or awiggins@virginia.org.
