More than any other month we are reminded that Virginia Is For Lovers. In the marketing game they say “live the brand.” What better way to live the brand than to help preserve a national treasure and a premier tourism site. On May 13, Tourism Caring for America an organization dedicated to the clean up and preservation of our nation’s treasures, will work to clean up the forest land surrounding Mt. Vernon. During tourism week, we will invite Congressional offices, the media and state officials in joining the tourism industry to clean up land that was damaged by Hurricane Isabel. You can share your love for this project by volunteering to help in this great effort. For more information log on to www.tcfonline.org and show the world that Virginia Is For Lovers of preserving our heritage.
