New Media Description for Events Listings
Please remember that for your events occurring Nov. 1 and later
to be considered for distribution to media, you must complete
the new “Media Description” field when entering them
on Virginia.org. This smaller
media description field will help us get the events to the media
with less editing time. Events that do not have this "media
description" will not be considered for distribution to the
media. To add your event to the Virginia.org website go to
www.virginia.org/admin/login.asp. If you do not have a log
in ID and password, click on "Register for an Account."

Admin Tool Tip
Events
Submission
When adding your Events to the
website, be sure to enter the name of the place where the event
will be held in the "Venue" field and its physical address
in the "Address" field so that visitors will know where
the event is so that they can attend. This will also ensure that
our MapQuest mapping feature will find the exact location for
visitors.
