International Sales and Public Relations Representatives

The Virginia Tourism Corporation manages international contract sales representatives in Canada, and partners with the Capital Region USA  on sales representation in the United Kingdom, Germany the Benelux and Scandinavia. These representatives sell Virginia in their respective markets by participating in trade and consumer shows, fulfilling consumer and trade requests for information, conducting direct sales calls on tour operators, sponsoring educational seminars for travel agents, tour operators and Canadian automobile clubs, and assisting Richmond-based staff in the development of in-market advertising campaigns.

The Division also works with the Public Relations Division in the management of Capital Region USA public relations representatives in London and Frankfurt. Be sure to put these valuable contacts on your mailing list for updated information and brochures about your product or destination.

Virginia Tourism Corporation retains representation in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Discover the World Marketing in Ontario and Communications Touristiques Internationales in Quebec provide the following services for the state of Virginia: representation at consumer shows, monthly sales calls and sales reports with leads, contacts with media representatives, brochure distribution, familiarization trips, CAA seminars and window displays, and management of the in-country fulfillment center. As a Virginia supplier, you may send your brochure(s) to our representatives and they will distribute them free of charge at the consumer shows and during sales calls.
