Description

A 48 Hour Fall Getaway suggests specific sites to see, places to stay, places to eat in a multi-day itinerary (“day one, day two, day three”) format. The description should illustrate a reachable and affordable destination perfect for a relaxing and memorable 48 hour getaway. A point of contact may be included in the copy should a visitor have questions or wishes to book lodging, reserve dining, obtain directions, etc. There is no price point included in a getaway. Although optional, a finite date range can be offered in the description.

*Finally, a getaway is not a travel package. To submit a fall related travel package or promotion please login to https://www.Virginia.org/admin and use the online submission form for Packages, Deals/Discounts and Promotions.

Links to any properties featured in your getaway will be linked to the specific listing on Virginia.org and VTC will handle finding these links unless you wish to give us a hand. If you have a landing page for the getaway or related getaways on your Web site, please provide that to us as well.

You may submit as many fall getaways as you wish for your destination. Creating getaways for the various themes will give your destination more exposure. VTC reserves the right to edit content as needed to match the theme and/or copy tone of the resulting landing page where the getaway will reside.

Criteria: submissions must include:
