More than ever, VTC Staff wants to meet one-on-one with your local tourism leaders and businesses statewide to MAKE TOURISM HAPPEN! In your own community, at training seminars in our Richmond office or at regular tourism meetings statewide, there are many opportunities to work together – and stay connected!
VTC Orientation
Held four times-a-year, VTC Orientation gives you the contacts and tools to create and manage a marketing mix unique to fit your needs. You’ll meet in our Richmond office and get to know who we are and what we do. Then, you’ll have access to VTC’s frontline marketing and development staff for individual appointments with public relations, grant funding, electronic marketing, group & meeting travel and more!Contact Hollis Sullivan for details.
VTC Help Desk
- Secure information on grant funds to boost your marketing efforts.
- Find affordable and effective advertising opportunities.
- Pitch your attraction and ‘Story’ to Virginia Tourism’s Travel Guide & PR staff.
- List your events, lodging, packages and dining on Virginia.org.
You can accomplish all these and more by meeting one-on-one with VTC’s marketing and development staff. Working with your local tourism office, VTC will bring our key marketing staff to your community for a full day of tourism marketing and development training. Spend your lunch hour (or more) with us and leave with a new, dynamic marketing mix that will enhance, or jump-start, your existing tourism efforts. We’ll help you target and reach travelers, and the media, to increase your tourism visitation and spending.

Brain Exchange
