The Advertising division under Corporate Communications develops and promotes Virginia tourism through the use of media including print, broadcast, outdoor and web-based venues. The consumer media plan targets frequent travelers within markets that provide the highest potential number of visitors to Virginia.
The Advertising division also promotes Virginia to group travel planners/tour operators and to meeting/convention planners.
Using state-of-the-art technology, the Graphics Department provides design and production support to the VTC, Virginia Film Office and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.

VTC has based its media schedule on research so that you will realize the best return on investment possible. We encourage you to review which opportunities fit your target audience best, as there are many, varied resources for you to consider. In addition, you will see that we have expanded the media schedule to cover 18 months, rather than one year. We did this to accommodate our industry members who plan their placement budget on fiscal and calendar years.
