Tourism and the Arts Marketing Program
Virginia Tourism and the Arts Grant Program Applications Are Now Open
Virginia’s arts organizations, museums and festivals represent some of the major attractions that entice tourists to visit our state. The Virginia Commission for the Arts and the Virginia Tourism Corporation have created a special grant program to help Virginia arts organizations with direct expenses related to tourism promotion efforts. The Virginia Tourism and the Arts Program provides up to $5,000 matching grants to partnerships headed by Virginia Commission for the Arts General Operating Support grantees for marketing initiatives related to tourism.
The Virginia Tourism and the Arts Program grant application is available on the Virginia Commission for the Arts website at http://www.arts.virginia.gov/forms/Tourism/index.html.
Applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2011.
